Why is there such a great difference in volume when I play piano and when I play back music from USB? Playing piano, I set volume at 65% and it's OK. But if I leave this volume for playing music back from USB, the speakers will yell like crazy (I'm afraid it can even lead to overloading and malfunction) - so, I have to decrease it to 20-25%.

My DP is like this too. I suspect there isn't a standard level for digital audio. How loud should mf be at 50% volume? What should that correspond to when you play a top-40 song through BT audio? DP makers probably optimize the amplification and volume ranges on the instrument for piano playing, and everything else is just gravy.

On some DPs, you have a aux-in volume control and/or BTA volume control, which is probably the best workaround.

Most commercial recordings use compression (the dynamic sort) to help the fight it out in the loudness wars. Apart from acoustic music, it's quite normal to be on the verge of clipping throughout. A realistic DP will require you to torture it to get the highest volume level.

I'm sure you can alter the input volume of digital audio, midi or Bluetooth in the menu, can't you?
