Dear Everybody,

You have been with me since I started my journey into music. This community is a marvellous, a rare thing. It supports one, gives one joy knowing there are people all around the world who enjoy music as much. I am so grateful to you all. The first recording I made for BIS Records has just come out as a SACD and I simply wanted to share this information with you. Your criticisms, suggestions and ideas have always been (and will be) invaluable contributions in my musical development. Thank you again.

Best Regards
Can.

Can you post a link where your CD can be purchased?
We are so proud of you!

Congratulations, Can! And thanks for all the superb recordings you've provided to PW over the years -- you fully deserve this opportunity!

Thank you very very much. My only intention was to share that news and my happiness with you. I am not sure whether it is allowed here to post links to commercial sites. More importantly, I wouldn't like to be in a position to advertise my own CD here. I wish I could share it in here for free (but it is no more my decision).

Again thank you very much for your kind words.

Indeed, we know you are not posting here just to advertise 😊. ..... For everyone else, it will ship from Amazon on the 19th

I want mine autographed on your first US tour.... so you really must let us know when that is scheduled! We’ll all sit near the front and cheer. Being able to celebrate successes is one of life’s little joys.

I can’t tell enough how touched I am by your reactions. I hope we will meet soon in person.

What a wonderful thread. I’m so glad you were able to take a moment to post. I saw you in Pianist Magazine and was so proud of your achievements. You deserve the best. Many wishes for a bright and happy future to you.

Wow! Congrats!

You have been on the forum since you were 8 yrs old? I’m sure you’re highly motivated and very talented and wish you the best of success. However, I see no US dates on the tour! We love music over here too, Can!

I’m wondering if you could tell us how a little about how you selected your music for the CD. Is there a theme or something that ties these pieces together? It may be obvious to some, but I’m still new to the world of classical music and just trying to learn more.

Congrats again!

I just got the news that Can performed Beethoven PC No.3 with the Sapporo Philharmonic and played his own cadenza! I'm hoping he can post this performance at one point.
