I think this is like the children’s rhyme/prank “Applecore, Baltimore†but instead of having an Applecore thrown at you, the pianocore is thrown at you. Makes sense to me.

If I wait, do you think he'll come down in the price, or do you think it will snatched up out from under me? Ya know, I could come up with other Baldwin spinets with the core within them, but consider all the work removing the core! It's a very technical operation. Wonder where he learned to do it...
