I'm testing geo-targeting on Piano World (at the request of our advertisers).

Trying to set up a test ad that should show to people from LA and/or NYC only.

Of course I can't test it because I'm based in Maine.
So... if you are from LA or NYC please take a minute to go to Piano World (the main site, not the forums) , somewhere like this: https://pianoworld.com/piano-scales-chords-ii/

Then, please let me know if you see something in the right column of ads that says Testing Geo Targeted Ads.

Yes, I can see it as well - I am in Manhattan, NYC.

I see it. NYC.

In New York also, although not New York City (suburb nearby), and don't see it.
BTW I thought my registration was under my NYC office address, and I sometimes do check the site from there, but maybe it's under the home address, which could make the difference.

I DO NOT see the ads, but Los Angeles Country is very large and I live in the northern most part of the country. So maybe the city can see it, but I can't, if that helps.

I'm from Brooklyn, New York, but I don't see those ads.

I am from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, and no, I see no ads.

I do see them in LA after I turned my add blocker off.

The system works by looking up the IP you use to access Piano World.
I'm curious to see how accurate it is, and to try to figure out how to correct for any it misses.

I don't see it. Midtown Manhattan.

I'm also in the Valley, and I see the test message when I go to "Pianos for Sale" -- which is something that could really benefit from geo-targeting... It's in the right column but you have to scroll down.

I'm West Side Los Angleles, Culver City, When I turned my ad blocker off, I see the ads but I didn't see anything about it being a geo-target test.

I am about 8 miles West of NYC in Meadowlands. I do See ads but don't think they are Geo targeted.

I am technically still in New Jersey not sure if that makes a difference.

The ad I'm asking about says:

Yes, that's the text I saw under "Pianos for Sale". I'm in Reseda, which is in the West half of the San Fernando Valley, City of LA.

I do not see it in Orange County, Calif.

I tried again today. Still no red text.

West side Los Angeles.

I am in Orange County also, it does not show up with the other ads.
