U3, what do you mean?  We're in the marijuana thread, and our thoughts are drifting.......now......what was I saying? Doc, I'll take that compliment but realize she's light years above my level! Funny, some have suggested I add a little more rubato to the piece in certain sections. It certainly drives, yet it's melodious...almost as if it's baroque meets romantic. (I'm picturing street sign, baroque on one side, romantic on the cross street). Bringing us back to the marijuana topic, here is a little video in which Adam Neeley, a bass player, talks about why he has decided to play sober: https://youtu.be/KEnHP8Z0YWwafter a bad experience subbing on a gig when he was too high. I have enough trouble playing music when I’m sober, so, I’m always sober. That’s just me. No judgement of others.

Funny, I find that if I play it in strict time, I am told to add rubato. If I play with rubato, I am told to play in strict time. So I like to do the opposite of what people tell me Don't tell anyone, but for me, Rubato is just an excuse to pause and figure out where the heck I am.

Are they imaginary if they exist in your subjective reality? Hegel might give you a  for the flyswatter. Schopenhauer might suggest that you could hold the flyswatter in your mind too and save the price of a real flyswatter!
