Have you guys heard of this?

It's an adventure story in which the students become the main character and they must compose to complete the quest.

I think it's a great way to introduce students to composition and notation. They really get into the story, which has some interesting side benefits as well. Things like how to practice smart and an emphasis on musicality. Pretty cool!
