So I received a marvelous surprise in the mail yesterday: A package from Ponderosa Music in Italy, containing the sheet music for Einaudi's new album, and personally autographed to me by the maestro himself. 3hearts

I was flummoxed, because I couldn't remember ordering the book, although I certainly had intended to buy it, and I *knew* I hadn't ordered an autographed copy. The only clue on the packing slip was a section marked "purpose of shipment" where it said "gift."

So I clearly have a dear friend who (a) knew of my recent health difficulties, and (b) knew that an autographed copy of Einaudi's sheet music would be a gift that means the whole world to me. I am no Sherlock Holmes, but I suspect the kind soul probably draws from this audience. I don't know who you are, secret benefactor, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for instilling a little joy in a dark time for me. heart

I know who it was!!! Not me, but a good friend on here who may declare him/herself shortly. Nobody more deserving of such a gesture than you, Monica! We are all wishing you a speedy return to health!

Any chance you can post a pic?

Well, figuring out the PW photo uploader is a challenge in itself, but if I did it all correctly, this should be a photo:
