Hello to all the pianists and musicians!
I am a classical concert pianist.
I would appreciate your recommendations for cute piano pieces.
You're probably asking what I mean?
That is, works that can be excellent for the encore, but not only; Short - up to 2 or 3 minutes; Light-hearted, somewhat virtuosic, both classical and jazz.
Examples: Tea for Two, Schubert's Musical Moment in F minor.
Thank you all!

I've always liked Polichinelle by Villa Lobos.

Best regards,

Scarlatti K.455 is cute, or at least very charming.

I've started playing January 2017, Nothing is too easy is where I keep track of my progress.

If Tea for Two works, there's a vast amount of "Great American Songbook" material to consider. There are lots of books of that at an early intermediate level. For more advanced arrangements that you can simply play as written, look for books by Dan Coates.

Liszt's Petite valse favorite is an excellent little piece and it's got an exquisite main theme. I would also think it fits your criterion of "cute" smile

The OP is a concert pianist. I suspect he was thinking of Tatum's version of Tea for Two.

Try a movement or two from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite in Mikhail Pletnev's brilliant transcription (not the composer's own transcription, which isn't as good) - they're all very short:

"I don't play accurately - anyone can play accurately - but I play with wonderful expression. As far as the piano is concerned, sentiment is my forte. I keep science for Life."

This is entertaining (and familiar)
Amilcare Ponchielli: Dance of the Hours, piano version

I believe transcription by John Gribben (https://imslp.org/wiki/Opera_Intermezzi_(Gribben,_John))

tbh I was really looking for a piano transcription of William Walton's Façade (entertainment) when I came across this but couldn't find one.

Many Scarlatti sonatas would work, for example K427 or K3.

Amy Beach Sketch opus 15, In Autumn;

Chaminade - Arabesque opus 61 (though a bit long)

Granados Spanish dance N°5 or Valsos Poeticos - the preludio or the last piece Presto

Carl Nielsen - Humoresque opus 3.
