Hypothetically speaking. If you could win one competition which one would you choose? The Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Naumberg, Cliburn, etc. I understand winning isn't everything and even many of my favorites haven't been in one. That said it is hypothetical, and I would choose the Tchaikovsky with the Chopin a close second followed by the QE.

But why? If no reason is given, the answer is not interesting or useful.

When I was younger it would have been the Tchaikovsky, but I tend to be much more impressed by Chopin winners, so I'd probably win that one if I could. When I was growing up, there was Moscow, Warsaw, and Leeds, and then all the others. I wouldn't turn down a Leeds win... grin
