In my experience, the 18950 (and presumably 18953, although I have not tried it myself) is the most stable stand I have ever used.

Kind regards,

I hope they are stable. I bought the 18953 because I read it can be adjusted lower than the 18950 and that this stand (18950) was too high to place the key bed at the proper height of an acoustic grand.

Working on:

Bach/Busoni Chaconne in D minor BWV 1004
Chopin: G Minor Ballade
Schumann/Liszt Widmung

Shigeru Kawai SK2
Kawai VPC-1

Again, thank you for all the replies.

Now I will wait until I can play-test the CA98 and the CA78 side by side. When I get the change, I will do a factory reset before testing, and will use proper volume. (75% or so.)

At this point it would make sense to rename my thread, since my focus has shifted back from the VPC1 to the CA98 (while dreaming about the NV10 and the N1X)...
