He was a Staffordshire Terrier. We got him at the local kill shelter when he was about a year old, and thought he was a golden lab mix of some sort! Turned out he was 100% Staffordshire, which is basically the English breed that slowly morphed into the American Pit Bull Terrier on this side of the big pond. You can never judge a book by its cover!

My username is a combination of my surname and my nickname.
It is just so simple, really.
I use it across forums.

That wouldn’t do at all lol. Although I think sometimes accountants are called names in a similar vein....

I decided I'm tired of the "squidbot" moniker after 30 odd years. So I just changed it. It's nickname I picked up when working in a place where there were 4 Chris' in earshot and we needed a way to differentiate. Since I'm "Chris B" it got turned in to "crispy" and since it stuck, I gave it a unique spelling.

Now learning: Chopin C# minor Nocturne (posth) and C minor Prelude (big chords), Mozart Sonata in C K. 545
Instruments: Yamaha N1X, Kawai ES110, Roland GO:PIANO

Well, my username comes from a water tank in a residential area that did my head in when trying to set up the chlorination system there. That's ancient history now, but as a joke I had the signature "We'll always have Solfinker".
The avatar is an animated astrolabe - though in this forum is not moving - that comes from another ancient job.
You can find my first name in my signature and you can see that it has nothing to do with my username.

Back to the piano.

When I joined Piano World in 2005 I was living in San Francisco. Currently I live in Santa Fe. How convenient that I could be AaronSF in both places!

Well, it could have been worse - every time I'd see squidbot's moniker, I'd think squid butt. I thought the appropriate cartoon for that might be NSFW! laugh

I meant to post to this, but don't think I ever got round to it! So if this is a duplicate posting, blame my age.

I work in Kuwait, am British but live in Bulgaria. So the name was obvious.
