Used Baldwin 623-A #1430646 $650.00

Given the ups and downs of Baldwins, I'm afraid of them but, I'm also afraid of missing a deal. Any one have any info on this model?

What did you think of it when you tried it?

Have not tried it yet. Was planning on going tomorrow. It's a drive so, if it's acceptable, I wanted to go prepared with the cash... But, I don't want to be an idiot either. I am ignorant of pianos on the whole despite Larry Fines best efforts.

I've found a very similar model Baldwin and went for it. I'm supposed to be picking it up on Friday. The last tech who serviced it said it was a good deal.

Well, I found a better deal. I ended up buying a 1986 Kawai UST-7 for $1300 that sounds much better...

It was owned by a piano technician/tuner that kept it in his own home. I am most happy.

Best of luck to you. I got a 1989 UST-7 in July and just love it. Yours looks beautiful.

Report back about how it works out for you, please.
