I'm looking for a mid-price digital piano/keyboard that is around $450-$700. Any recommendations? I heard the yamaha p45 is quite popular among newbies like me.

Read a review here and it sounds alright- treblereview.com/yamaha-p45-review

Anyone owns this or have used this keyboard before, what do you think of it? Does it play well, and does it sound good?

Kawai's ES110 is very good. I think you can get it for $629 if you look. Only downside is with all its capabilities, it has no LCD. It's pretty tough to know if you just successfully tuned on the auto-off function, or how to get from harpsichord to electric piano.

As for tactile realism and sound, it's wonderful.

We have a Roland LX 17 which is very successful .I think it cost about $7,000 .It is also is made of wood and looks like an accoustic
piano .Sound and touch good .There is also the Roland LX 7 with a quiter tone.Similar look .
