I highly doubt it - it's clear to me that the FP-10 will be a lower cost, lower specification version of the FP-30, which will continue to be sold.

This means there will be a smooth progression in price and features across the four instruments in the line-up: FP-10, FP-30, FP-60, and FP-90.

Kind regards,
James

In my market, FP-10 is around 2/3 price of FP-30. So it would compete well with entry level Casio and Yamaha. I think here it is the cheapest of the bunch.

Yes! And I’d love to see a travel version with 61 keys!

US$499 for the FP10 vs. US$699 for the FP30 - it’s looking like a pretty good deal. Here are the main differences I could find.

Button Panel - on/off, volume and function button. FP30 also has bank buttons for instruments, plus metronome and MIDI recorder.

Functions Signs - One plus over the FP-30, the printing of the functions over the keys looks much improved - easier to see and read (white text ove the keys).

Pedals - FP10 only supports single pedal (half-pedaling is supported)

Voices - 96 vs. 128

Instruments - 4 vs 6 Pianos, 2 vs 7 E.Pianos, 9 vs 22 Other

MIDI Recorder - looks like no recording? just playback of internal demos

Rhythms - no rhythms, except for metronome

Output Jacks - only 1x 3.5mm stereo out, and it’s on the back

Speakers: just like on the FP30 speakers are facing down (to save space?)

It seems like in Europe the price difference is only about 10 - 15% cheaper for the FP10 now ... it will probably go cheaper with time ... It should be at least 30% cheaper to be worth buying it over the Fp30 ...
Here is the best video comparison by now with both FP10 and FP30 ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJhYeoJDsMg

In Hungary we have even less difference at the moment -- perhaps due to some nice offers on FP-30. For a while you could get FP-10 for the same price of an FP-30 in another shop. Now there is a bit lower price for FP-10 at one shop, the difference between lowest prices is around 5.6%...

Good morning

I have bought the fp-10 an I love it.

But its not possible to transfer midi Data with the Piano Partner 2 App.

Do someone know a possibility to send Midi Files via Bluetooth from the Smartphone to the Piano?
Thank you so much.

T.
