Hi, Please add Jan 22 to my list of excused days. I was not at home on that day. My daughter is 9 months old and some days I go to my parent's house. They look after my daughter and I go to work. unfortunately there is not a piano in their house.
Thanks

That is a very good suggestion MH1963! We get a lot from PianoWorld and it is nice to be able to give something back!

Darn it, my first missed day and it's still January! I was out yesterday evening (Jan 22) and did not manage to plan in advance to get some practice in before work instead. Extenuating circumstances include a recently adopted puppy which makes relaxed early mornings a thing of the past (hopefully a thing of the future too, but definitely not a thing of the present!) Please put me back on the wagon as of today.

Hi,
I know I just started but i didn't practice on Jan. 23 and Jan. 24. I am still adjusting to working full-time temporarily and a increase in my hours. However, i need to learn to press on and still practice. I am back on the wagon today though.

Hello. Can you please add me again? Although I have religiously practiced every single day, only today I remembered to check in and update my profile. This my 3rd year in and I'm proud to wear my 2 year badge. Thank you

Hi, could you add Jan 25th as an excused day for me please? The college workload hit me hard that day and had to focus on that instead.

I’m going to have to drop out. My practicing has gone out the window. I was visiting my sister in Oklahoma and on what was supposed to be my second to last day here, she had a heart attack. I travel home on Sunday. But i’m back in 3 to 4 weeks when she has heart bypass surgery. Practicing is going to be very hit or miss much of the Spring. So, best I just drop out of MOYD this year.

So I guess we just report our days missed here. I don't want to clutter this thread up with unwanted posts but I just hit 45 consecutive days of practice (started in mid December) and I am thrilled. I am a long-time beginner who never really committed to diligent practice but I think I have the hang of it now. I use Piano Marvel (among other things) and tell myself that all I have to do is spend 5 mins a day at the piano. I do have a piano teacher and I think she is pleased also.

I feel like I am on a roll myself as I have an unbroken stretch since December 26th. I believe it is the longest stretch of daily practice I've had since I started last year. Coming up on 1st anniversary of starting piano in 2 weeks.

Hi,
Could you please add January 30 and 31 to my excused days, I have been suffering with hypoglycemia and was not feeling well on those days. I am trying to get to the piano more and had made it to the piano 4 consecutive days since my lesson last Friday. Which is a improvement for me. I am going to keep at it.

I have missed 4 days over the past 10. Honestly I don’t remember exactly which ones. I wasn’t paying that much attention. I have bronchitis and am on my second cycle of antibiotics. I am feeling marginally better and hope to get back into the swing now.

Hi, I did not practice the piano on Feb. 10th and Feb 11th. I love playing the piano. However, I am still adjusting to my fluctuating work schedule and being busy sometimes and fitting practice time in. However, I did make it to the piano last night and I am back on the wagon now.

Okay reporting vacation w/o piano Jan. 25-Feb. 3, but solid since then! I've never practiced so often and it is *great* to see the steady improvement. Very thankful for this program...

I must ask to be excused for Monday 11 Feb.
It was my first day getting back to work after being really sick and I was simply too tired to even think about touching the piano.
