The one that I am being paid to service. Or the one that I am listening to, especially if I am playing it. Slightly less if I serviced it for the concert.

Regards,
Well you are supposed to choose the ones you have played .Come on Bruce you must played a few .
The best I've played have been Bechstein, Fazioli, Bösendorfer, and Steinway.
The more exotic pianos like Sauter and Steingraeber sound incredible to me, but I haven't played any. I also love the magical Blüthner sound.
Sauter has been making pianos for 200 years this very year.If you read back through the years on PW Sauter is highly regarded .It still owned by an original family member. It used to have a lot of presence on PW right back to 2006 and perhaps before . It is a member of the BVK .In fact it is well respected in Europe as being one of the best brands like.Steingraeber and August Forster. A number of its pianos are in educational institutions over there and some concert halls like the Norwegian opera house . It is highly rated buy L .Fine on the 2nd tier right under Bechstein . All this means is that these pianos are not exotic .The trouble is we are drowning in" truly exotic pianos ". .
