Sounds like you have already . . . .If you buy this, try out the Bluthner for your half price second . . .

Yes I have also been a big fan of the Steingraeber E-272, but admittedly, I got this 11 months ago when I didn't know anything about pianos (only started learning in Feb 2018). I've seen you extolling the virtues of the Blüthner in this forum before, so I've been trying it. I do like it. Not sure if I like it more or less than the Steingraeber though. Anyways, good enough. I've just bought the Bechstein and the Blüthner just now and yes, the Blüthner was half price. I paid $88.50 for both.

Pianoteq is already an intergrated part of a (physical DP) as internal (onboard) sound, in the "Phoenix" https://www.adelehmusic.com/

Where did you read this ? I remember the designer of the Phoenix Piano didn’t answer the question.

Even if I try to be as transparent as possible, (I really like to talk to you and talk about techno !!!) there are elements of the technological spring whose competition lurks for each piece of information and must remain on the order of professional secret.

However, reusing the Pianoteq technology in this piano is very highly probable (it is difficult to make a good piano sound generator, both Modartt and AdeleH are french, some GUI of the Phoenix Piano app show 3 levels of hammer hardness... like Pianoteq)

Pianoteq is e.g. specifically mentioned in the related filed patent of the Phoenix.
Adele might claim that it is not a direct general pianoteq model, since they (apparently) developped/adapted with Moddartt a specific one for the Phoenix.

The patent https://patents.google.com/patent/EP3149726A2/nl is only about the folding structure. I haven’t read Pianoteq, but the Philippe Guillaume’s patent (Pianoteq) is referenced.

I must have misprint Pianoteq in my fulltext search. It seems curious to point Pianoteq here (the patent is about the mechanical structure)... and to refuse answering my question in a French forum to prevent concurrents to copy the principle.

If I would like to make a new piano like Adele H did, I would ask different VST providers and try to licence their technology, and Pianoteq would be on my list (probably easier to implement since it doesn’t stream samples from disk).

I tried it out and definitely like it. First instrument I'm actually contemplating of buying next to my beloved Steinway. shocked
