?!?!?!

Apparently some college throws a piano off the roof of a building each year (MIT?). Personally I think it's sacrilegious.

Not a grand piano, but a ground piano.

Larry.

I'd rather see Punkin' Chunkin' than Piano Chunkin'!

But I'm mostly joking above, although it is sad to see any piano die... frown

I must say it is awful to see that piano lying like that on the pavement. It is like seeing a homeless person who nobody
cares about .

It brings to the surface a question we Piano hobbyists and piano lovers have to think about. What will happen to our beloved pianos when we move on to the “big recital in the sky”. Will the person who gets our piano take care of it and maintain it or will it sit unused, out of tune, pushed out to the garage, or worse yet the driveway waiting for someone to haul it away. Also an acoustic piano takes quite a bit of natural resources to build but I don’t know how much can be reused or recycled. It’s horrible to think of my beloved piano in broken pieces in some landfill. Ugggghhh!
My grand nephew is taking piano lessons. Maybe he’ll take my piano 🤔

You know, I've seen many an "upright grand", but this is the first "horizontal upright" I've seen.
