If anyone has the Yamaha stand for their P515, could you please answer a couple of questions for me.

First, would you please measure the height from the floor to the top of the white keys. Is there any height adjustment available or is it just fixed?

Also, does the keyboard attach to the stand somehow, and how difficult is it to remove if you want to take the keyboard off to use with a portable stand for gigging?

Thanks for taking the time to answer. I can't find much info about it online, but am especially interested in being able to use the triple pedal.

It’s 73,3 cm circa and it’s fixed. The keyboard is screwed to the stand’s horizontal lips via 6 screws which go into the bottom on the keyboard’ two sides. I have no idea how hard it would be to remove it but mounting it wasn’t difficult.

How difficult is it to move the p515 with the stand and pedal assembly attached? Can the whole assembly be moved by one person?

My guess is it would be a bit awkward to move more than across the room. You're probably looking at 65 lbs. or so, and the pedal assembly might be a bit vulnerable. Probably better with two people, but I manage to move my grand and my CA78 around the room by myself on occasion Where there's a will there's a way!

john123,
I don't own the optional pedal unit but if you're able to lift the piano (it's a little bit too heavy for me) it shouldn't be a problem as the stand is basically three pieces of wood with some (not so much metal).
