Most of you know that Barbara, the dear wife of our Rickster, is disabled and has suffered from a brain tumor and other related ailments for a very long time. I am saddened to say that her health took a turn for the worse in August, and that she has been in decline since then. She passed from this life last Saturday. Barbara was the love of his life, wife of 42 years, mother of his two children, and his best friend. Rickster is heart-broken, but rejoices in the fact that her suffering is over, and that she is in a better place now.

I am saddened to hear this news. The loss of a beloved wife after 42 years of marriage is heart-breaking. My condolences to Rickster and his family. I am sure that Rick's love of pianos and his lively piano-playing brought comfort to his wife during challenging times.
My condolences.

Robert.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Rick has always been one of the kindest people on this forum, a big part of why this is a good place to hang out on the web.
