I'll attach some photos for reference.

My friends recently moved out and I ended up getting their baby grand piano. It'll need a tuning and a couple keys are hard to push down or mute right after playing. The most surprising thing was that the pedal rods were missing so they're pretty much a nice looking decoration right now. Any advice would be appreciated on where/how I could get new ones. I talked to a piano technician and they said the 'trapwork' for the damper pedal was missing after looking at the photos.

I can see why your friends left it...

The piano technician you talked to is correct, you are missing the trapwork - which would have to be custom made. I don't know that it would be worth the expense, especially given the fact that you have other issues that would need addressing before you could even tune it. I would suggest calling a local tech to come do a proper evaluation of the piano.

Probably should've gone over the piano first, but since it was free I just took it. Think it'd be worth the time and money to just buy another used baby grand instead of trying to fix this one up?

You can buy a set of rods for $90, or make your own from quarter-inch brass from the hardware store. Look at Howard Piano Supply. You can get pedals if those are missing.

This is not a high-quality piano, even for a Krell. You would be better off replacing it.
