I was surprised when people included Liszt and Bartok because Hungary, although located in Eastern Europe, is not even close to Slavic.

But I did not want to rain on anyone's parade laugh

I will refer to my earlier post on this issue smile

I think I got the recording today that I'm going with for this recital. Anyone else ready yet?

Due to time zone complications and my work schedule I will have to open the recital a bit early. (Sunday evening European time). So those of you who want to be first be warned smile

And no, nothing recorded...still hoping to get the piano tuned in time...

I look forward to hearing everyone play. I will have to skip this one since I am in the middle of a move and my RX-6 is still on its side in storage. I have not practiced in five weeks and it’s killing me!

19) Bartók - Six Romanian Folk Dances, Sz. 56, BB 68 - ElaineAllegro

I regret I will have to un-subscribe to this recital. I thought I could "bring these back" faster than was possible. I look forward to hearing everyone else. (It's a good reminder to record pieces when they are at their peak for future use. <sigh>)

Why not just submit the part that you're comfortable with...?

Any submission - even if not ideal - is better than none...

Re Bartok Romanian Dances: I checked in too late, past the submission time. But I found an ok but not terrific recording from a recital in June. Maybe I'll clip out the other pieces and just attach a link here.

This is actually from Dec. 2017. I think I can do better now on most but there are some measures in #5 and #6 that are still a challenge. Here's a link to the 2017 audio for anyone who's curious. Now I'll go listen to all of you who sent in a recording on time. blush
