Did you ask on Acoustica's forum?
http://forums.acoustica.com/bbs/viewforum.php?f=4&sid=8133fe786b35dfbdb7e773e82fcb303a
They also have a support section too.

I would try the forum. They have some knowledgeable folks there. I almost brought the program when Cakewalk went belly up. Went in a different direction but I can say I liked somethings about the program.
I'm not really knowledgeable in it to help you. Cakewalk was brought by another company and I'm back in the fold also have Samplitude Pro X3 Suite. If you can't get Mixcraft to work you can download Cakewalk by Bandlab for free now. You get a full featured DAW to use.

Only thing I can think of is that you say it sound is very bad. If you are using ASIO settings make sure they are a buffer setting of 256. If set low it usually results in crackle audio.
