Are you bored?... Back in March I sat with Dan Del Fiorentino for a NAMM oral history interview. He posted a approximately 3 minute excerpt on the NAMM oral history page. He has since posted the full interview. https://www.namm.org/library/oral-history/frank-baxter-full-interviewSo if you find yourself with time on your hands, grab a drink (I recommend it be alcohol) and some snacks and watch the video. It covers my 50 year association with the music business starting with hearing my father and my sister play the piano in our house, through my wonderful years with Curtis Music Stores and on up to today. The idea of the NAMM oral history program is to capture stories from people involved in the music business in their own words (before they are gone). This video is my story about my 50 years in music (so far), in my own words, filmed in my own house. https://www.namm.org/library/oral-history/frank-baxter-full-interview

Great job Frank! (I still like my interview with you better). Thanks Rich. You like yours better because it was shorter, and you guys caught me completely off guard. I remember it was at NAMM and I was trying to get lunch. You and Hugh spotted me and said something like "Hey Frank, why don't you sit down and we'll do a quick interview?". Not knowing any better, I did, with zero prep. :-) Still it was fun.
