After several months of playing - learning - 2 Voice Invention #13 I've just realized I may have been playing the following note wrongly.
[Linked Image]

I've been playing it natural since there is another #F in the same measure - another octave I must admit - and it sounded good to me natural.
Now I hesitate. In fact, I think I was wrong.

Thank you for your help.

Hi
The second F in the bass is sharped, because the first F i(first note of the measure) in the bass is sharped. The accidental, in the same octave, continues for the entire measure, even though it is not marked. It is easy to miss these in the score

I am just learning this piece too and agree with the F# as the answer.

But I am puzzling on the LH fingering - completely different from my Henle edition and different from what I play which is 4212 242 5421 2351 5312 1241 421

The picture is from the Busini Edition
The one I am actually playing has another fingering, as you can see herein.

You might want to pencil in a parenthetical sharp. That way if you return to this piece in the future, you'll remember....
