In your case, it would probably work out for a local upholstery shop to handle, but it's probably worth a call to Jansen first to get an estimate for comparison, especially when you factor shipping. Popped buttons are pretty rare on Jansen, but common on other makes.

Did you just get the piano and bench? If so, I'd just tell the dealer, I'm sure they can give you another bench.

Hi this is all very helpful. We purchased the piano from the rebuilder. I need to find out the maker of the bench. Was playing yesterday forgot to look. Yes its heavy.
