Serial number places the build date at around 1918. Is the piano an old (tall) upright?

But as BDB writes, date of manufacture is all that we can determine from the information given. The value - if any - of the instrument depends upon its condition, and only an examination by a piano technician can ascertain the true condition of the piano.

Kimball was a Chicago based company till acquired by Jasper in 1959. Production continued in West Baden, Indiana and French Lick Indiana till 1996. Kimball international had a sales office in Chicago's merchandise mart In the 1990's. I tuned the player piano in the lobby there during the 90's. When piano production stopped, the player piano disappeared.

Confirming above, it's a 1978 model.

In my market, if in good condition, that piano would sell on the street for $800 - $1200. If in poor condition, free to $400.
