It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
I have this piano for almost 5 years and the clicking sound is in almost all the keys. In the beginning the keys were silent and now is getting annoying. At least, The sound and touch works well
Since you guys have more experience, is this normal in all pianos? Do i need to get it to the service ? I was thinking of selling it and buy a kawaii es110 or yamaha p 115 but im afraid that this problem happen again
Your Kurzweil has a Fatar action. After a few years of practice, most Fatar actions end up noisy just like yours. You could always ask a tech good at electronic keyboards to replace the noisy Fatar components, but if I were you I would instead sell the thing for a new piano. If you really want to keep the Kurzweil, another option would be to replace the whole Fatar action, but it would probably cost a lot just to end up with the same problem in a few years from now.
I had a Kurzweil PC2X some years ago and sold it before it was too late when its Fatar action also gradually became annoying.
