Over the last 9 months my piano practice was limited to practicing for the quarterly recitals, maybe one or two pieces, then, I would choose one or the other for the q- recital.
-life has it challenges and I was caught up in the stress, rather than solutions. My other interests went awry. Big time.
I’m an imitation Houdini when it comes to life’s problems and only I feel the illusion.
(bystanders eat popcorn and watch… :)lol) It’s all too common to do what’s worse for one’s self when times are stressful.-
As the 80/20 rule goes, I solved maybe 20 % and it's are a little smoother now.
-the inertia of practicing is coming back on its own.
So, for those who quit (piano) or anything, give it time, it’ll come back on its own. If you need a break, take it.

Cheers!!!

That’s good advice.

Glad things are (at least somewhat) sorted out for you now.

Sometimes you need a new genre to work on. Or an outside interest like walking or cycling, if you're retired or not working.
There seems to be a lot of elderly folk working in the UK right now; it seems to be good for them. Wouldn't mind a little job meself . . . .sometimes. Just sometimes . . .
