Considering a Pramberger PS208 6'10" and a Mason AA 6'4". The Mason was built 1928. The 208 2012. More or less the same price. Of course I favor the Mason. I am having it appraised. It was rebuilt over the past 2 years. And has always been in state. The Pram was moved from another state a yr ago & had to be tuned 3x. Please any comments?

I'd repost this in the "Piano Forum" if you are seeking advice on a new piano. The "My New Piano or Keyboard" section is for those to post about their newly acquired instruments.

as you are probably aware, the M & H you're considering is from the 'golden age' before Aeolian took over and relocated manufacture to NY. the knowledge and experience of the person you engage to assess the quality of the restoration is critical, along with what you yourself experience playing the piano of course. keep in mind that the PS series for Pramberger is not their top tier, which they call the 'JP platinum' series. not necessarily relevant if you really like the newer piano, except for the price you should expect to pay.
