Please excuse me for 3 days last week - Tue/Wed/Thur (6-12,6-13-6-14) - for business travel.

I still haven't found a good enough piano to take on the plane - that can be checked in. But hope to get one soon to not miss too many days of practice for future travel trips.

Thanks,
Osho

Long story short, though I took the Casio PX350 on my mini-vacation over the past long weekend, I ended up working long days for the entire trip fielding a work emergency. Is that any way to vacation, I ask you?

As a consequence, for MOYD purposes I missed practicing on Thursday June 21 and Monday June 25.

As always, I hate it when working for a living interferes with my more valuable pursuits!

Back at it at home on the acoustic last night.

I need to be excused for June 17-30. Mr. Stubbie and I spent a week hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park and then more days hiking in and near Dinosaur National Monument. What a blast!

I have to officially drop out for 2018. It would be impossible for me to list my missed days so far and there will be many more in the coming months. Not that I'm dropping piano - no way - just not able to maintain a consistent daily journal.
Good luck to everyone else. Hope to see you in St Goar!

ClsscLib - I will add June 21 and 25 to your list. Working for a living does interfere with piano playing!

Stubbie - That sounds like a fun trip! I will add June 17-30 to your list.

Palmpirate - I am sorry to hear that you need to drop out, but I know you will keep playing! See you in Saint Goar!!

Hi Guys... I am quitting MOYD this year.

My wife and daughter have moved to another city and I will commute over the weekends. The piano is also for my daughter and it went with her. So I will not have a piano for a bit.

I will have first to find a new place to stay and then buy a practicing (digital?) piano for the week, so at least until the end of the year I will only be able to play during week days... :-(

So my piano practicing will be on hold for the rest of the year.

Thanks a lot for the support so far...

Best of luck in your new surroundings. I hope your able to get back to the piano soon. I know I’ve been thinking about what I’d do if I didn’t have access for awhile myself!

Good luck in your new area, fofig. Long distance commuting is tough. I hope you can return to piano soon. I will take you off the MOYD list for now.

I will be traveling from July 11 through July 26. A summer vacation where I get to visit with my granddaughter. I may occasionally be around a piano of some type but I will not guarantee that I'll have a chance to practice.

A lack of talent does not stop you from learning piano. It just takes longer and you have to work harder.

Please excuse me for July 6.
My wife and I went on a day hike vacation and stayed at a nice little cabin without a piano.
