Found a 1950 Mason model C locally at an estate sale a friend of mine is running. They are putting a low low price of 3k on it. I haven’t seen it yet, and am due to go check it out in a few days. Anybody know anything about this particular build?

I'm not sure but I think it's the smallest model they made, even smaller than the model B. It's not from their best period and it's close to 70 years old. So it may be a core type piano and require many thousands or many tens of thousands to put it in good condition. The price isn't particularly low or good unless the piano is in MUCH better condition than would be usual for a piano of that age. Don't be seduced by the name on the fallboard is my advice.

Thanks, wasn’t looking to buy it. Pretty much wanted to give her pricing help and wanted to be sure about what I was looking at.

I thought the C was 5'-1", but I have never seen one. I think the smallest grand they made was the SG Semetrigrand. But I am by no means an expert on Mason & Hamlin models. There seems to be a lack of consistency between their models: I have noted several scales for As and AAs.
