Hi, muableppa123! IMO, even the normal speed version is significantly too fast. In that particular Rag, what I like is a "marching band" feel, and that requires slowing the tempo to a point where people could march comfortably to it, perhaps with some synchronized contortions, and "normal speed" wouldn't give you the time to do that. And I've generally heard the Maple Leaf Rag performed at the "normal speed" tempo, but I think you lose some of the potential charm in doing that. And the really fast version to me is just silly -- it serves no musical purpose at all.
