I do not play the cello myself but love the expressions of it, in particular together with piano. I try to utilize its potential here in this digital production.
Any feedback most welcome.

Well done Kjell, I love how you worked both parts.

My only critique is that maybe you should leave the cello "breathe" a little bit more by "shutting down" the piano once in a while. In other words, if you really want let the cello express its lyric potential, try to stop the piano articulation somewhere by just letting it play static chords, and let the cello sing instead, freely. I am sure that'll make a big difference in the expressivity of your composition.

I have to agree with fabrizio. You need to let the cello "shine" on its own in some measures. You have (I think I remember) three or four measures where it is just piano. However, there were none with just the cello.

Other than that, I thought you did a great job! Keep it up!

So good to hear from you Fabrizio. Your advice is relevant. I guess my non-experience with the solo cello gave this effect. Also, that I wanted to keep it short.
Thank you.

NobleHouse, thanks so much for listening and your comment. I may also add to my reply to Fabrizio that I was a bit uncertain whether the quality of the Cello sound (GPO) is good to enough to make a solo cello insert. Now I am a little bit more convinced so more of cello will come.
Thank you.

You are most welcome!

You have talent, please, keep working on it. When I compose a piece of music, it takes several dozen revisions before I am satisfied with the result. Composing takes time, but it is worth it!

Thank you fabrizio and NobleHouse for your suggestions resulting in a new version with somewhat more focus on cello (same link). Changes appear after 2:00 minutes.
