I like your style Alex, and I like also the video editing you have worked for your music.

Just curious: have you written your music down in some way?

Congratulations again smile

Hi Fabrizio

Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you appreciate the video editing, I tried to have something going on other than just me playing so as to give people with less experience with piano music something to look at. I like the look of them but I didn't always do it as I didn't have images that always matched. I think in the future I would do something similar but commit a bit more to it.

In regard to scores, I do have scores for most of them however they are largely incomplete and very messy. I know a lot about notation so I don't break the rules on accident I just find writing out scores incredibly tedious and so I only do it when I have to and play a lot from memory. The end result are scores that aren't really good enough for other people to read but I can. I will eventually go back and put them all down properly but sorry if you wanted to have a look.

I can offer this one video that was hosted on G. Gianopolous channel which does have a score. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pc-W3NU5ifo

All the best

Alex Oliver Cawley

You are most than welcome Alex!

I see, and I understand what you mean. To write down music is a big commitment and must be dine right, as you highlighted.

Thank you for the suggested video, that's very nice. I'll keep that video in my collection, and whenever you'll have sheet music for the rest of your music, please, let me know. I am always looking for nice and new compositions to add to my own collection.

Thanks!

Fabrizio

I just listened to "Windmills" and thought it was delightful! Your attention to texture and the subject material really comes across, I think. I was really able to feel like I was looking at a windmill turning slowly in a gentle breeze, and all that that entails. You are clearly a very experienced player.

I enjoyed your Lady of the Lake. Very nicely composed and played.
