This is not an attempt to vote twice, but I just truly regret not having voted for Rare gems, so I'll just add one point to that one.
The ones I had voted for in my previous posting are Beginner music, Female composers and New Age.

Nordic composers, for your inspiration ...

Danish: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Danish_composers

Swedish: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Swedish_composers

Norwegian: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Norwegian_composers

Finnish: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Finnish_composers

Icelandic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Icelandic_composers

I suspect these lists are not complete, but they are probably slightly overwhelming just the same. (I certainly am only familiar with a fraction of those names). smile

Does GAS include jazz standards? If so, I'm in for that one. We can vote for more than one, I see? What does Piano Transcription recital include? Can I add the following proposed categories?

Jazz standards / Lead Sheet
Rock & Roll & Pop and Progressive smile
Improvisation
Creative (self written)

Otherwise....

1 - Piano Transcription recital
3 - GAS - Great American Songbook (including holiday music)
2 - Asian/African/Middle East
3 - 20th+ century classical music
1 - Beginner music.
0 - Future-themed piano recital
3 - Rare Gems Recital. (A recital of unusual, underplayed pieces.)
0 - Recital for piano 4-hands and piano + another instrument, or even chamber music
3 - Female composers recital
1 - New Age or Contemporary theme (including Einaudi, George Winston, Yiruma, contemporary classical composers)
1 - Scarlatti

The voting list omitted suggestions by cmb13, purrblast, AssociateX, so I've added those at the bottom with my votes on them.

PikaPianist, Animisha, Sam S, Tim Andrianson, and cmb13. who have already voted, might add any points you want to the ones starting from cmb13's "Jazz standards / Lead Sheet" - I've marked these new entries in bold below.

My vote:

1 - Piano Transcription recital
3 - GAS - Great American Songbook (including holiday music)
3 - Asian/African/Middle East
4 - 20th+ century classical music
2 - Beginner music.
0 - Future-themed piano recital
4 - Rare Gems Recital. (A recital of unusual, underplayed pieces.)
0 - Recital for piano 4-hands and piano + another instrument, or even chamber music
4 - Female composers recital
1 - New Age or Contemporary theme (including Einaudi, George Winston, Yiruma, contemporary classical composers)
1 - Scarlatti
0 - Jazz standards / Lead Sheet
0 - Rock & Roll & Pop and Progressive smile
0 - Improvisation
0 - Creative (self written)
0 - music from movies (not songs)
1 - music from French composers (Debussy, Ravel, Messiaen, etc)

We had a French themed recital in 2017 and a Great American Songbook recital around that time. Maybe that doesn’t matter with allthe newer members onboard, but thought I should bring it up.
