1857 Blüthner Symmetrical concert grand, serial # 1134

Here are some pics of our 1857 'Glockenkonzertflügel' (dated and evaluated by Christian Blüthner ), which translates into 'Symmetrical Concert Grand'. It is apparently the earliest known example of this rare scale (possibly in addition to a similar one of a Swiss collector). Except for the hammers, our instrument is pretty much original including the super rare legs. The action is Blüthner's version of a Herz/Erard action offered as an alternative to their then newly introduced Patent action. There is also a video on youtube called 'Bluthner Glockenflugel' (sic). We are looking for a similar vintage instrument with original hammers to have authentic copies made. If you know of someone, please let us know.
