Each morning the BBC mentions things which happened on the date in years gone by.

On 18 April 1930 there was the usual news broadcast scheduled for 09.00 to 09.15. The announcer stated that there was no news, so 15 minutes of piano music was broadcast instead.

A more elegant age.

They already do. Most of what the main stream media puts out is agenda-driven lies or cut and paste without fact-checking, editing and proofreading. Politically-leaning opinion pieces for extra padding too.
