HOW TO PLAY ON BROADWAY AND TOURS

TELESEMINAR MASTERCLASS

Speaker: Howard Joines (Broadway Contractor: Finding Neverland, Side Show, Aladdin, Matilda, Bullets over Broadway, Cinderella, Billy Elliott, Promises Promises, Grease, etc. Broadway Conductor: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Never Gonna Dance, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Full Monty, etc. Drums/Percussions: Ghost, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Flower Drum Song, etc.)

In this teleseminar, Music Coordinator/Contractor Howard Joines will discuss the different paths in which musicians make it to Broadway and tours. Using real life examples of what he's seen work and not work - -from his perspective as contractor, conductor, and percussionist - - he’ll leave attendees with a better understanding on how the hiring process works on Broadway and tours, and with insights they can use to advance their own careers.

There will be a Q&A. Send your questions by email after registering, and/or ask them live during the class by writing in the live question box or talking directly with Howard Joines.

The replay of the class will be available as a link for a week afterwards, for those registered who are unable to attend the live event.

The link to the event will be sent in an hour prior the event. The event can be attended on a computer or a phone.

Date: April 23rd 2018

Dave Weiser that worked for Kurzweil is deep involved in this scene. He is on Facebook and is a good resource.
