Tomorrow concert, and on our concert Blutner, as it turned out today, jammed the G of the first octave. What it means is jammed - if you press hard, the damper goes away, and comes to the place after a few seconds or for some other reason I do not understand. If you reap on the sly, then everything is in order. But tomorrow, on the sly well, it does not work out in any way, and surprises wait so-so. What I tried - the damper manually raised-lowered a few times, sort of better, but then again. It turns out that someone should have this damper on duty and lower it.
Maybe someone has an idea, what else can I do? But exactly as a pianist

You should call in a technician to fix it. There must be a tuner for the piano, and he or she could probably fix it.

I'm with BDB. Surely the concert hall has a piano tech on duty/call? If they do not, they should. Pianos at the concert level need attention daily, or perhaps between performances the same day. On the other hand, I've read about some concert pianists arriving at the venue with a tuning hammer in their back pocket. As a last resort, if manually moving the damper up and down helped some before, you could try that again; be careful not to distort or damage the delicate damper felt. Good luck. Rick

Mysticism ... Today, this defect has not manifested itself in any way, and the piano has not been repaired since yesterday

Mysticism ... Today, this defect has not manifested itself in any way, and the piano has not been repaired since yesterday Change in humidity in the concert hall? Change in temperature? A combination of the two? Either way, I'm glad to hear the problem is solved (for the moment). How did the concert go? Rick

Rick Probably until the next manifestation of the defect the cause we do not know. The concert was wonderful! Thank you!

Excellent! I enjoyed seeing/hearing the accordions, mandolin, singers, and traditional drums in the orchestra. You looked like you were having a great time playing the piano during the performance! That is what it is all about! Thanks for sharing! Rick
