Any recommendations for a padded case to transport a Yamaha p115? I just need something to carry it in on vacation and lacking forward thinking skills did not keep the shipping box it came in. I won't be flying and checking or anything like that, just placing it in my car for transport so a soft case should work.

I use a Gator case for my PX-350, roughly the same size as the P115. I _think_ it's this one:

Check the inside measurements against your own DP. I don't know how the "slim" and "regular" bags differ. And mine has a shoulder strap -- very useful!

Thats the bag I have got and i used for it for my kawai es110! I use it to travel to gigs with in my car. Has a lot of padding and so far has protected my keyboard fine.

Thanks - I was looking at the Gator bag. Seems like it would do the trick.

Gator has a new line of gig bags that look very impressive. Check out the Pro-Go line: Gator Keyboard Bags

Another vote for Gator. The front corner of my keyboard still gets banged up even though Gator has the best padding. Any suggestions for reinforcement? I do 450 gigs per year.

My first thought on reinforcement:

. . . reinforce the DP, not the case.

A layer of fiberglass mat and epoxy resin, on the corners of the DP, would probably be enough. Even a thin layer absorbs a lot of punishment.

. . . Of course, it would be difficult to make it invisible, and if it were visible, it would spoil the looks of the case.

OTOH, if you gave the outer case rigid corners, that might work well enough. Perhaps a luggage-supply / luggage-repair shop would be helpful?
