During my last visit to a store, where I tested a Kawai CA78, there were several Samick digitals waiting to be set for display.
This brand is hardly seen in the market of digitals, and there is little info about models. Some videos, yes, but not much.
Has anyone tried them?
From the videos, I can hear that one upright-like model sounds fine, at least decent. It has Fatar keybed.

There is a thread on PW: http://forum.pianoworld.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/3798/Re:_Is_Samick_a_good_piano_to_.html

In 1992, Samick built its P.T. Samick factory in Cileungsi, near Bogor, Indonesia. This factory produces the majority of instruments that Samick makes.

North American operations are performed from its newly constructed (completed July 2007) North American Corporate Headquarters, located in Gallatin, TN. This 214,000 sq ft (19,900 m2) facility is responsible for all administrative activities for the North American market, as well as acting a distribution center for its guitars and acoustic/digital pianos. The facility recently began the manufacture of a small number of acoustic pianos, which will be sold under the Knabe brand.

I know Samick Co. Everybody here does. I was questioning specifically about digitals, because of their 'strange' presence in a store that is mostly working with 'major' brands. I was like 'hey did I miss some novelty?'

I didn't even know Samick made DP's. AZPiano has a review of the latest models as well as another video (under a different Italian badge apparently): https://azpianonews.blogspot.com/2017/04/Samick-SG500-SG120-Digital-Grand-Pianos-REVIEW.html

Obviously, to answer you question, I've never tried them. I have tried the Fatar action and wasn't a huge fan, but I seem to be an outlier in what I look for in a DP action from what I've read here.

It should be noted that AZPianoNews is a piano dealer, so these reviews are nothing more than advertisements of products on sale.

Worth linking this thread: Discussion of AZPianoNews

I don't dispute the writer is also selling a product, but "nothing more than advertisements" I don't completely agree with. But that's all I'm going to say about it, I don't want this thread to turn in to an argument about it for the OP's sake smile
