I can't pass this up. I'm picking one of the supposedly easier and also shorter preludes. I've been playing the well known Prelude in C but honestly although I *love* playing it since I find it somewhat meditative, I find it a tad boring to listen to.

I'm happy to find the date so far in the future. I hope I'll be able to contribute to this lovely recital by that time.

I've started playing January 2017, Nothing is too easy is where I keep track of my progress.

Don't overlook the Inventions, Sinfonias, and the French Suites
The French Suites are awfully nice

Would some works from the Anna Magdalena Notebook also be appropriate? Specifically, the pieces which weren't written by Bach.

They definitely count as related, and offer loads of options for less experienced players so I think this would be very appropriate indeed

It's really more about what I'm capable of playing at this stage. I hope that there will be many Bach pieces in my future as I (hopefully) improve over time. smile
