Hi,

I am looking for a piano piece where I recorded the ending decades ago. Unfortunately I did not record the name of the piece or the composer.

The ending can be found here. Piano piece, ending (mp3).
I also made a very simplified score of the main theme, available here.

I posted this request on the Pianist Corner too, but so far, nobody has identified it.
Must be a pretty obscure piece, but it's pretty.

Any help is welcome.

Have you tried to identify it with the Shazam app?

Yes I have. Also with SoundHound. They didn't know it.
But it doesn't matter. I mailed the radio station, and they gave me the answer.
It's the "Valse anti-dansante" by G.Rossini, from his "Pèchés de Vieillesse" series.

I wonder if I can get the score in time for the Waltz-themed recital; and learn the piece fast enough.
Not very likely; but maybe I can focus on having it ready for the EPP 2018.

After a bit of online searching, I have sadly come to the conclusion that I will not have this piece ready for the Waltz themed recital.
The only online store where I found it was SheetMusicPlus (dogperson on the Pianist Corner put me to it); and delivery, if I understand them correctly, will take at least two months (2-3 weeks until it leaves the warehouse, and 3-6 weeks of shipping).
Maybe a local music store can get it faster; but I am not holding my breath.
