I'm looking for a music theory teacher to work with me on my harmonic analysis and general music theory skills -- but mainly harmonic analysis because I compose and really want to be able to break songs down with theory maps and see how they work. I am working through this book, Tonal Harmony, 6th edition, ed. Stefan Kostka and Dorothy Payne:

And the workbook.

I audited some music theory classes at Peabody conservatory in Baltimore, and they used that book.

It would be great to Skype (unless you live in Edinburgh, Scotland) once a week and work through the book.

Thank you so much for your consideration -- I look forward to hearing from you!

I'd like to learn music theory from other musicians and share what I know.... Also, I enjoy listening to folks' compositions and supporting fellow writers. If you know about music production and DAWs, we should talk....
