Hello friends,

Is there an app that helps train a person to easily recognize chord blocks (rather than just individual notes)?

Much the same way we learned how to read single notes when first starting, I’d like to now get better at recognizing chord patterns or chord blocks, so my mind can start recognition by ‘chunking’ rather than reading notes individually.

I’m sure this would happen naturally the more I progress with learning different pieces of sheet music. However I wonder if there is an app out there than would provide good training for this?

Thanks in advance for suggestions!

Note Trainer Pro - by thoor software

- drills chords shapes by key: triads, 6ths, 7ths, Dim - roots and inversions
- drills are quick - 30-60 seconds each. Good for pop quizzes during practice.
- works best with a MIDI keyboard
