Cat's practice routine:
Watch till human takes a break;
Take over warm bench.

How can I blame him?
Of course he wants to be warm--
He's such a cool cat!

Rising higher by quarter inches,
Turning bench knobs I realize too late:
I wanted to sit lower.

Cat’s reply:

He thinks I want his warm seat
I too can play Bach

My Bach is worse than his bite.
The nap sounds good, though.

Must go out to catch fast food.

These are all so creative!

Since I have a cat who insists on being on the bench with me, followed by getting on my lap & eventually trying to get up onto the keys. I especially enjoyed the ones about the cat with responses from the dog! Too clever!

My cat loves classical music.... He will shut his eyes and move his lips, particularly to a Chopin nocturne. Not when I am repetitively practicing, but when I’m playing through the piece and it’s good enough for him. My piano tuner made the mistake of letting him see the action of my upright piano on the first tuning So he looked for the same type of action on the digital.

I thought about buying one of those little kid pianos and see what he would do with it. Maybe I can retire if I could teach him to play
