Hello everyone

I've recorded the part that I know so far.
I'm a beginner, only have 4 piano courses under my belt so feel free to tell me what do you think so I can get better (hand placement, or anything else). Constructive critics are welcomed

(sound is a bit low because it was kinda late)

Thanks smile

It sounded gentle and flowing until near the end when I might have detected a little hesitation. I do not think I know the piece so cannot offer constructive criticism but thought it was important to let you know someone had heard and liked it! You have a nice touch and appear confident whereas I often feel I appear wooden. You have good long slender fingers and should manage to progress very well, whereas anyone can play, I do think those with long slender fingers have some advantage so be encouraged! Some of the spreads in Chopin lead me to think he was actually an octopus. I enjoy playing Bach, there is a level of rigidity and repetition and reflection from one hand to the other which is good training and highly satisfying to master. You are on the way! Good luck.

Hi there.

I'm surprised about your comment, in a good way. I am still hesitant because I'm only 3/4 of the way through the piece and the end is still a bit clunky. I'm still learning notes and trying not to look at my hands but at the sheet which is soo hard..

From my point of view, I'm bad.. but that's because I'm too hard on myself.

Still, I really appreciate that you took time to write me back, it is encouraging !

Best regards !

I concur with the previous comment. Beautifully even, yet nuanced.... gifted sense of rhythm and weight. Once you've got it well under your fingers it will be a totally professional interpretation.

My 2 cents.

My take on J. S. Bach, Scarlatti, Shostakovich: https://www.youtube.com/user/dohgrant/playlists

My current thing.... a wee bit of Shostakovich, that underrated Russian composer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C29LqzTOoYM&list=PLP5BZzcdRkq1WU147i5-3K92XlBgTe-kp
