i am happy to own a 1987 SF-10, purchased last year from the original owner.

I am curious as to how late these were actually produced. The latest I have seen or heard was one from 2000, apparently never sold, that Bob Estrin has for sale at Living Pianos. Where are the rest of them?

That's a good question - as far has how long they were made. According to Wikipedia, some Baldwin production continued in the US to December 2008. But that's also a source of the rumor that Baldwin still has the capacity to build some pianos at the Trumann, Arkansas facility. I've seen several later model (2000+) SF-10's and SD-10's on the internet for sale over the years. I'm sure they are still in use all over the country. They can be amazing pianos when they are properly prepared and cared for.
