Thinking of buying either a Perzina or weber baby grand or grand piano. Are they any good? Do they hold their tune?

No piano holds its tune. They all have to be tuned regularly. Brand new pianos in particular, are inherently unstable and need tuning several times a year for the first few years.

David, thank you for your response. What I was actually referring to. Is after breaking period. Maybe after 2 years. How well it keeps its tune between being tuned. My church has a used kimball baby grand that can't keep its tune yet I have a yamaha upright from the 70's and it keeps its tune very well. My tuner likes the piano.

What I,m asking is opinions of weber and Perzina baby grand from people that have tuned them and worked on them ? Are they pretty good pianos?

I'm thinking that your church piano and your home piano are subject to different kinds of atmospheric stresses. Many churches don't keep the heat steady at 72 degrees throughout the week but do turn it to that warmth on Sundays, and all church areas are subject to great changes in humidity because of the varying numbers of people in the piano room sweating and breathing (from zero to hundreds). Your home piano is probably at a steady temperature with small numbers of atmospheric variants. So I don't think what you're seeing is all to do with the piano manufacturer or piano history.
